Prepare for CPR & Beat the Odds

It’s been a sad week with lots of CPR-related reports—like the 15-year-old who sustained cardiac arrest during high school football practice, or the mother who drowned with her two children when she jumped in a pool to save them, or the couple who were struck by lightening.

The truth is that we cannot predict when tragedy will happen, and we cannot prevent it from happening. But we can prepare for it and do our best to help those in trouble.

In all of the previously mentioned tragedies, CPR was delivered as swiftly and soon as possible. Meantime, all of the victims remain in critical condition, but at least they have a shot. Without CPR, there would have been no story.

We can’t stress enough the importance of learning CPR. The life you save could be someone you love.

Be a hero! Learn CPR.
